The Omenator

Privacy notice

We have arranged things so that we know almost nothing about you. This notice explains the little that remains, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Last revised 31 October 2026

Who is responsible

The controller of any personal data handled through theomenator.com is The Omenator. You can reach us about anything in this notice at hello@theomenator.com.

What stays in your browser

When you confirm your age and sign up, the site saves a small record in your browser’s local storage under the key TheOmenator/purse. It holds:

  • that you confirmed you are 18 or over;
  • your nickname, your coin balance and how many rounds you have played;
  • when you joined, when you last collected tea money and any pause you have set;
  • whether you have dismissed the storage note.

This record never leaves your device. It is not sent to us, and we have no copy of it. We have no user accounts on a server and no database.

Server logs kept by our host

Like every website, ours is served by a hosting provider whose servers record basic technical details of each request: your IP address, the page asked for, the date and time, and your browser’s user-agent string. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, are held by the host for a limited period, and are not used to profile you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a safe, working website.

What we don’t do

  • No cookies, no analytics, no advertising tags, no social media widgets.
  • No selling, sharing or renting of personal data.
  • No fonts, scripts or images loaded from other companies’ servers.
  • No automated decisions about you.

If you email us

If you write to hello@theomenator.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply and keep the conversation for as long as is sensible to deal with it, then delete it.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to data portability where that applies. Because game data lives only in your browser, you can see it, change it or delete it yourself at any time by signing out or clearing this site’s storage. For anything else, email us and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

The site is for adults only and is not designed to collect information about anyone under 18.

Before the curtain rises

The Omenator is a free social casino meant for adults. Nothing here costs money, nothing here pays out, and the crystal ball is only a prop.

Are you 18 or over?

Once every 24 hours you may collect 500 extra coins. They are as pretend as the rest.

You can pause all four games in this browser for a while.

Sign out

Signing out wipes your nickname and coins from this browser. There is no copy anywhere else, so they cannot be restored.
